Our Story

Built by an educator,
engineered for the future.

Schooliki is the result of 17 years in the classroom meeting a passion for intelligent automation. We’re here to make language learning accessible to everyone.

Solving the “Invisible” Barrier

For over 17 years, I stood at the front of classrooms in both K-12 and Higher Ed. I lived for the breakthroughs and the “aha” moments. But like every educator, I watched learners struggle not because the language was too hard, but because the tools got in the way.

Vocabulary drills shouldn’t be locked behind paywalls. Pronunciation practice shouldn’t require a human tutor on call. And your learning app shouldn’t reset your progress every time you switch devices.

I transitioned into software engineering to build the tool I always wished existed: an intelligent assistant that meets learners where they are and adapts to how their brain actually works.

Founder & Veteran Educator

The Front Lines (2006–2015)

K-12 tenure where I learned that effective language instruction isn’t just about grammar rules—it’s about removing friction so learners can focus on meaning.

Scaling Systems (2015–2023)

Higher Education leadership, focusing on how complex instructional workflows can either empower or alienate adult language learners.

The Technical Pivot

Mastering full-stack development to bridge the gap between “good pedagogy” and “good software.” Building tools that actually talk to each other.
